Plantable Sachet

Turn the single-use sachet into useful object making them portable seeding. Just a little drop of glue to joint a seed on the sachet.

At the same time as the single-use sachets came to us as the solution of various problems such as reducing food waste or better packaging a product, greater ease of acquisition and transportation, have also brought us the greatest loss of all: the accumulation of non-recyclable material in the environment. The idea of Plantable Sachet came from the concern with the huge amount of packaging that is dispensed in the environment and not recycled, either because it is made from non-recyclable materials or because it is not economically interesting for recycling.

Plantable Sachet adds value to the conventional sachet as it has seeds glued to its exterior to be planted in various places by its users. The idea of partitioned products is so ingrained in our day-to-day life that it will hardly be extinguished, while its commercial value for recycling is also unlikely to increase spontaneously. In this way, from the moment we make the sachet used in something useful, much of this material that would be dispensed in the trash or in the environment can be directed to a place where it will be used.

Various types of seeds can be added to sachets, allowing users to set up their own private gardens, choosing which types of seeds they would like to take home, and even those sachets dispensed in the environment and not collected have a chance to turn a tree or plant.

The intention to keep the same material used today in the sachets and to add value to it is due to the high cost we still have in the seed papers, which in any case would require a seal that would be aggressive to the environment to continue to fulfill its functions.

The Plantable Sachet, in addition to reducing the amount of waste, encourage planting, agriculture and reforestation. The seeds used could be from vegetables, flowers, fruits and even trees in extinction or risk of extinction in each region.
